's get mike's take. what do you think about the visa story on a fundamental basis? >> it is interesting because if you take a look at wall street research you will see bullish bias. what they are trying to do here is justify basically an expanding multiple which is probably the first risk factor and justify that with pretty decent top line growth which is about 10%. this is trading about 24 times earnings. you can have a crack in the top line growth and a crack in the multiple or both. if you have some concerns about recessionary pressures from my perspective this looks stressed. >> mike is going to sell a call spread tonight. let's open the play book and see how the structure looks. you sell one call and then to define your risk you buy a higher strike call of the same expiration. you want the stock below the short strike by expiration. that is where you make the most money. >> i was looking at the january 150-155 call spread. i was going to sell the 150s and buy the 155s against it. that is about 40% of the distance between the strikes which is a sweet spot for selling those at the mo

to define a risk because mike is absolutely right. this thing has really fought around. on wednesday it lost more market cap than 420 of the names in the s&p 500. it really had a run here to the down side. i don't think the down side run is broken here. i think it is still pretty ugly and the momentum is to the down side. i think the major reason is something that dan mentioned, that is margin compression particularly in tablets. if apple has more competition in a tablet space then they are not going to make as much money across the platform. as they might have hoped. there's more room to the downside. >> what is key to understanding the trade that dan is going to understand is the point that you made. the volatility in apple is extremely high. not just that, i believe it is approaching record levels at this point. >> it is. i think the thing that you should be thinking about here is a really good example. i was looking earlier this week, when the stock was $550 the jan 550 call was like a 7% buy. you can sell that for almost 7% of the stock price. that is staggering. you can sell straddle f

board meeting of the year by dedicating our board meeting in the memory of mike nevin, who recently left us. mike was one of our founding board members way back when we created the transbay joint powers authority and was very supportive over the years. he served as our first chairperson and was there with us in the initial years of moving the project forward. mike was a member of the caltrain board of directors and also a former san mateo county supervisor, mayor of daly city and san francisco police inspector and not only served on our board, but numerous other regional transportation boards and we'll always be appreciative to mike for all of his work in the area of transportation, as well as his commitment for those in need. we extend our sympathies to mike and his family. i would also like to thank director reiskin, because a few board meetings ago director reiskin suspected that suggested that we look into that and found it's viable and could save us money and we modeled after the department of public works and caltrans regulations, allowing for savings during the bid submission and
